Sección 1: ¿Qué son «If» y «Unless»?

Ambas conjunciones se usan para introducir condiciones:

• If: Significa «si» y se utiliza para expresar una condición que debe cumplirse para que algo suceda.
• Unless: Significa «a menos que» o «salvo que» y expresa una condición negativa que debe evitarse para que algo ocurra.

Sección 2: Uso de «If»

«If» se usa para expresar una condición que, si se cumple, lleva a un resultado.

Estructura:

• If + condición + resultado
• Resultado + if + condición

Ejemplos:

• If it rains, we will stay home.
  (Si llueve, nos quedaremos en casa).
• I’ll call you if I need help.

Sección 3: Uso de «Unless»

«Unless» se usa para expresar que algo sucederá solo si no se cumple una condición.

Estructura:

• Resultado + unless + condición

Ejemplos:

  (No saldremos a menos que deje de llover).
• You can’t enter the club unless you have an invitation.
  (No puedes entrar al club salvo que tengas una invitación).
