Objetivo de la Lección

Aprenderás a usar «will» para expresar el tiempo futuro en inglés. Conocerás su estructura, usos principales y cómo aplicarlo en afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas.

Sección 1: ¿Qué es «Will»?

«Will» es un auxiliar que se usa para hablar sobre el futuro en inglés. Su forma es invariable y no cambia con el sujeto.

Sección 2: Estructura del Futuro con «Will»

2.1 Forma Afirmativa

Estructura:
Sujeto + Will + Verbo (forma base) + Complemento

Ejemplos:

• I will call you tomorrow.
  (Te llamaré mañana).
• She will travel to Paris next month.
  (Ella viajará a París el próximo mes).

2.2 Forma Negativa

Estructura:
Sujeto + Will + Not (Won’t) + Verbo (forma base) + Complemento

Ejemplos:

• They will not (won’t) attend the meeting.
  (Ellos no asistirán a la reunión).
• I won’t forget your birthday.
  (No olvidaré tu cumpleaños).

2.3 Forma Interrogativa

Estructura:
Will + Sujeto + Verbo (forma base) + Complemento + ?

Ejemplos:

• Will you help me with the project?
  (¿Me ayudarás con el proyecto?).
• Will he arrive on time?
  (¿Llegará él a tiempo?).

Sección 3: Usos del Futuro con «Will»

1. Decisiones espontáneas:
   • I’m tired. I will take a nap.
     (Estoy cansado. Tomaré una siesta).
2. Predicciones basadas en opiniones o suposiciones:
   • It will rain tomorrow.
     (Lloverá mañana).
3. Promesas y compromisos:
   • I will always love you.
     (Siempre te amaré).
4. Ofrecimientos o voluntariado:
   • I will help you with your homework.
     (Te ayudaré con tu tarea).
5. Amenazas o advertencias:
   • You will regret this!
     (¡Te arrepentirás de esto!).
